I am a lawyer with a broad experience of technology, commercial, and insolvency litigation. I have also been called to the Bar, which means I can attend any Court in England & Wales to do advocacy on behalf of clients. I am regularly appointed to act for businesses (both domestic and international) in complex disputes.
I started in the Law, believing that I was only ever going to be interested in negotiating business transactions. That interest was probably the result of having worked for my families businesses from a young age.
Once I set foot inside a Courtroom for the first time in 2009, my interest in disputes and advocacy piqued. I realised I enjoyed the adverse nature of conflicts and providing solutions to complex problems.
I work in the heart of London's technology hub, Old Street. I enjoy solving complex problems for clients, and I appear in Court frequently throughout the week. I understand what will be successful/unsuccessful in front of decision-makers. I am commercial and realistic about litigation in providing a definitive position, which is why I look for alternative solutions early on.
Also, I regularly assist small to medium-sized enterprises as their outside general counsel to help them handle their legal needs. I provide them with business-focused and practical legal advice with pro-active legal risk management, so they can avoid problems before they arise. One of these businesses is an international Group (listed on AIM until 2018) who provide technology, project management, recruitment and training services with companies in U.S., E.U., Middle East, Asia and Australasia.
